The map below is a blowup of the downtown Athens area with highlighted lodging, the Ritz of course, and the locations of the available pay-to-park parking garages. There are also many other parking options available throughout downtown, such as pay to park land lots, and free & metered street parking, some directly adjacent to the Ritz itself. We recommend to those not familiar with the area the use of one of the garages. These garages provide heightened security, a virtual guarantee of availabilty, and help you abrieviate your trip time through pre-planning.
The downtown area is literally bursting with shops, bars, restaurants, & live music venues, so unfortunately there is not enough space to highlight all of the local attractions.
